giving back
We don't just organize, we change lives! When your quality of life has been negatively impacted by illness or financial hardship, it can feel impossible to get organized. As a way to offer support to those in need, A Call for Order regularly donates organizing and styling services to deserving families and non-profit organizations.

our promise
A Call for Order is committed to serving our community in Baltimore and the surrounding counties!

While our own families have dealt with tragedy, we were lucky enough to have support through difficult times. We strive to offer support to others who are experiencing hardship.
Several times a year, A Call for Order will donate our time via organizing, shopping, and handyman services. We invite our clients and followers to submit an entry for a family that would benefit from free organizing services.
Each fall before the holidays, we will choose a family from your submissions to gift our services to!
our stories

Mariya still deeply mourns the loss of her beloved cousin, Yelena, who passed away in 2022 at age 39 after a 3.5-year battle with early-onset metastatic breast cancer. Yelena was brave, empathetic, inspirational, and wise beyond her years.

Yelena was Mariya's organizing partner-in-crime, her first "client," and her biggest advocate. Fun in their 20s involved a road trip across Europe. Fun in their 30s involved organizing each other's respective homes. Yelena was the yin to Mariya's yang. The two were very different but very close.

When Yelena was first diagnosed, Mariya felt helpless. It wasn't fair! What can we do when faced with a situation that no one has any control over? Fortunately, Mariya was uniquely qualified to do something no one else could: she pumped breast milk for Yelena's infant and donated her 1,500-oz freezer stash.

In honor of her cousin, Mariya wants to continue finding creative ways to help people facing situations that make them feel helpless.
Rebecca's father, Jeff, was one of her biggest cheerleaders and always supported her business endeavors. He was her legal consultant and she always knew where to go for any advice.

Everything he did—every sacrifice, was for his family. Jeff lived with heart disease for eight years, defying every prognosis along the way. According to the charts, he should have been frail and sickly—but the man the doctors saw in front of them was still cracking jokes, still working, and still showing up every day for the people he loved.
Eventually, in 2024, Jeff's body gave out, but his spirit never did. He left behind a blueprint for how to live: love your family, work hard, and never, ever do anything halfway.

At A Call for Order, we live by these standards as well. If your newly organized home allows you to spend more time with your family, then we’ve done right by Rebecca's dad!
